About Brianne Wragg
mentoring creative writing in kids aged 10-16.
My name is Brianne, and I am a writer and former teacher. I left the teaching profession in 2020 and transitioned into ghostwriting and copywriting. A change in the profession was exciting, and it wasn't long before I had a strong client list. But there was an ache in my heart that used to be filled by working with kids on creative writing and projects.
It wasn't long before I stumbled back into the education sphere when I started work at Synthesis School. Suddenly, my eyes were opened to all the possibilities for kids and education. I started a creative writing program there with kids aged 10-14.
Creative Genesis started during my time at Synthesis but has grown into something more with our Writers' 45 Workshops and writing mentorships. Our mission is to make writing fun! Let kids play with writing styles, creative processes, and conventions without the constraints of assessments and grades. I provide a space where it is okay for kids to write more and then write better. Fail more and then fail better.
