How To Dominate Your To-Do List πŸ“πŸ”₯

Mar 26, 2021

I wanted to be more intentional about organizing my day ✨

And one of my favorite parts is sitting down and writing my To-Do List.

I personally use Notion for this and I realized that I've been really enjoying writing down my To-Do List using this app πŸ€©

I dominate my To-Do List with Notion's Kanban Board view.

The Kanban Board is a visual board where you can see your progress doing a specific task. Here are my 3 Boards in Notion:
1.) To-Do's
2.) Doing
3.) Done

Then, my "secret" is adding in these 3 additional tags:

πŸ“—: Low-Focus
πŸ“™: Medium-Focus
πŸ“•: High-Focus

I assign a tag for each task on my To-Do List. So for example, here are 3 Tasks in the Low-Focus Category:

πŸ“©: Organized & Dump Emails.
πŸ’»: Clean Desk Area, Macbook Pro & Airpods Gen 2.
πŸ‘”: Laundry & House Chores

2 Tasks in the Medium-Focus Category:

πŸ“: Assignments & Practice Test about Web Design.

And 1 Major Task in High-Focus Category:
πŸ”Ž: Prototyping Web Design

I always start finishing all the easy tasks first so which helps me beat procrastination.

I used to start doing the hard tasks before but I noticed that I end up not having time to do all the easy stuff anymore because after finishing the tough stuff, I'm already exhausted or not in the mood πŸ˜…πŸ˜΄

At night, I look at my to-do list again and using the Kanban Board, look at tasks that are still in To'Dos and Doing boards πŸŒƒπŸŒ™

These are the tasks I prioritize on will prioritize to work on tomorrow.
