We've just rolled out the biggest upgrade to the question bank since launch. All 43 modules, all seven subjects, rebuilt around one idea: every question should teach you something, and every answer should show you where it came from.

This is the change we're proudest of. An answer that tells you you're wrong is worth something. An answer that tells you exactly where to go and read is worth a great deal more.
Every explanation in the bank — all 5,348 of them — ends with a citation to the printed page of the CPA study guide:
A third statement of financial position is required where an accounting policy is applied retrospectively, items are retrospectively restated or reclassified, and the effect on the opening statement of financial position is material (IAS 1, para. 40A, p.68).
That closes the loop in a single step. Miss a question, open that page, understand it, move on — no hunting through the module trying to work out which paragraph you actually needed.
And these citations are checked against the guide text itself, page by page, so the reference you follow is the one that answers the question.
Around 1,000 new scenario questions
Recall questions build your base. Scenario questions are what get you through the exam.
We've added roughly 25 application-style questions to every module: a short fact pattern — a client, a transaction, a governance decision — followed by the judgement call. The bank now sits at a deliberate mix:

13% multi-statement (the "which of (i), (ii) and (iii) are correct" format)
8% calculation
That balance is designed to carry you from first read to exam week: concepts first, then the gap between I know the standard and I can apply it under time pressure.
How to get the most out of it
Work module by module rather than shuffling everything. When you get one wrong, open the cited page before you move to the next question. It's slower for the first hour and considerably faster by the end of the week.
If you've worked through a module before, it's worth another run — there's enough new material in there that a fresh score will tell you a lot more about where you actually stand.
