Right now I’m deep into Fatal Contrast, Frank’s third case. It’s the book I’ve been building toward since the first page of Killer Witness. It moves between a freezing German winter, when Frank still had everything, and a scorching Las Vegas summer, where he finally goes after the man who took it all away.

It’s the most personal story I’ve written for him, and some days it takes a lot of coffee to get the words right. Knowing that readers like you are waiting for it keeps me at the desk on the days when it would be easier not to be.
