Hello! My name's Connor. I'm an aspiring nature photographer passionate about neighborhood bird photography! After getting a fantastic Canon camera for Christmas in 2023, I've had the continued blessing of photographing several kinds of songbirds (and the occasional hawk!) who have come to trust me after becoming familiar with my face after many, many neighborhood walks.

Occasionally, I write blog posts on "Quis ut Deus?", my WordPress blog. I'm surprised to admit that my top creative passion has firmly transitioned from writing faith-based blog posts to taking portrait-style pictures of birds. As an English major, I thought for many years that becoming a full-time writer (either a novel author or a contributing writer) was my highest aspiration. I enjoyed a brief time as a writer on Patheos, but my love for nature photography eclipsed my interest in writing.
My current goal is to continually hone my bird photography and become a professional nature photographer. Because this career path doesn't have a clear outline, I know there are many avenues to achieving it, which is exciting and nerve-wracking!

stumbled across a bunch of your articles on Patheos and really connected with your writing. I personally LOVE how you include unexpected references from video games and movies to further illustate your spiritual points, something I often do in my own life but rarely see displayed in faith-based content such as yours. (I mean, a "Silent Hill 3" mention on a Christian article... plesantly surprised!) Now I find out, like me, you too are a gay Christian. Wishing you all the best both personally and professionally.
