Hello! Thanks for coming to my Buy Me A Coffee page. I'd like to give you a little bit of background about me and how the podcast got to where it is today.
As you may already know, I'm the host of the Confident Business English podcast. I am also an accredited Neurolanguage Coach® and I coach senior managers like you to build their confidence with English communication.
I have worked in education since 2018. First as a teacher on the Master programme in Vaughan Systems, one of Spain's leading English companies. Then in 2020 I set up my own coaching business working with senior managers in companies 1:1. This is now my full-time business. Prior 2018, I worked in the UK (My home country) in project management in healthcare.
My first introduction to podcasting was hosting a live radio show on Vaughan Radio, which I did for 18 months alongside my teaching. I had no prior experience and they gave me a shot. It was great fun and I learned a lot.
Then, inspired by another teacher, I left the radio and started my own podcast in February 2020, right before the pandemic.
I called it Anna with 2Ns, which was the same name as my previous show. In hindsight, it wasn't a great name choice and I didn't start with a huge long-term strategy, I just wanted to share my tips and guidance with as many people that would listen to me!
6 years, 300+ episodes and 6 million downloads later, the podcast has evolved to what it is today: focused on helping senior managers build confidence. I did a big rebrand of the podcast in 2023 to its current name: Confident Business English. The podcast now has thousands of professionals from all over the globe who tune in to get their business English training every week.
As a coach, I see so many great professionals, that perhaps like you, are technically competent with the language but have an enormous lack of confidence when they speak in English. That's why my focus is always - how can I help you feel a little more confident after each episode?
Confident Business English is a free podcast and there will always be a free version. I do all the writing, recording, editing, production and promotion myself. I don't have a team, I don't have sponsors and I currently don't run advertisements. I do all the work in my own time alongside my full-time coaching business.
