As someone who is deciding to go to grad school during a pandemic, it hasn’t been easy. I am set to live in the Bay Area for three years, where housing prices are atrocious (I may have found housing so crossing my fingers!!). I lost one of my jobs during the pandemic due to the business being unable to operate (spa and wellness center), thereby having to shut its doors permanently. I helped open this spa so it was like losing a part of myself, but it has caused me to revisit my schooling and do something with more of my free time (since my line of work has been the most tampered with during these 9 months). Hopefully I’m able to practice more often once I make the move!

In person classes begin soon and I could use all of the expensive, boujee Bay Area coffee I can get (or the cheap store bought, whatever pumps my veins with caffeine). And probably some textbooks while we are on the topic of ‘needs’. Thanks for seeing me, seeing my gifts, and my potential to be a conduit of healing in this world that is so needing it at this time.
