When two AI answers disagree: a practical exercise

Sep 13, 2026

Two answers can sound convincing while making different assumptions. Here is a small exercise you can try with AI tools you already use. It does not require Concernia or a payment.

THE EXERCISE

Imagine you are writing a short welcome message for a new project. You want a newcomer to understand what the project does and what they can do next.

Give each tool the same brief:

“Draft a welcome message of no more than 80 words for [project]. The reader is [audience]. The available next step is [action]. Use only these confirmed facts: [facts]. Do not invent features or availability. List your assumptions separately.”

Read the two responses before showing either tool the other response. Then compare:

• What does each version help the reader understand?

• Did either add a feature, date or promise absent from the brief?

• Which differences are wording choices, and which are factual claims?

For this illustrative exercise, suppose one answer says “Download now” and the other says “Read about the project.” If no download exists, the first answer fails a factual constraint, however polished it sounds. The second still needs checking: does it describe the project clearly and point to a real next step?

Choose or rewrite the message yourself. Ask a potential reader what they understood and what they expect to happen next. That is an initial clarity check, not proof of higher sales.

Agreement between tools is not independent proof. Check important claims against original sources.

ABOUT THIS WORK

I’m Selim David Musali, the creator of Concernia, a Windows app in development for bringing AI sessions from different providers into a shared working room you direct. This exercise is educational material, not an app demonstration; there is no public download today.

If this is useful, you can share the exercise or follow this page. Voluntary support here goes to me as an independent creator, is not reserved for Concernia’s development budget, and does not purchase beta access or a licence. The separate pre-order offer and its terms are linked in my profile.
