À propos Nelly Andrade-Hughes
I'm a high school Spanish teacher with over 20 years of experience, originally from the beautiful city of Morelia, México. My work is fueled by a deep love for language, culture, and connection. I specialize in ADI (Acquisition-Driven Instruction) and CI (Comprehensible Input) methods, helping students acquire Spanish naturally and joyfully.
Outside the classroom, I’m also an author, proofreader, and creator of engaging, culturally rich educational materials designed to support both teachers and learners. Whether I’m writing a story to bring a Mexican legend to life or designing a lesson that gets students laughing en español, my goal is always the same: to share my language and culture in ways that spark curiosity, joy, and confidence.
💛 Why Your Support Matters
Every contribution helps me continue doing what I love:
Writing compelling stories and reader-friendly books
Designing creative classroom materials based on real culture, not just grammar rules
Offering resources that save time for teachers and inspire students
Staying connected to the Spanish-speaking world through travel and continued learning
Your support gives me the time, tools, and inspiration to keep sharing the heart of the Spanish language—its people, music, traditions, and voices—with classrooms around the world.
🙌 Let's Stay Connected
When you “buy me a coffee,” you’re not just fueling my work—you’re becoming part of a community that values creativity, education, and culture. ¡Gracias de corazón!
