The maker community has had a huge positive impact on me throughout my life. It's kept me engaged in engineering through dull college classes and has connected me with lifelong friends who constantly motivate me to make more cool things. With Compass CNC, I'm working on lowering the barrier to entry to this community and give more people this wonderful key to unleashing their creativity.
I jumped ship and quit my job in summer 2024 to work towards this goal full time. Any contribution made here helps to keep this passion project going and blaze the trail for the future of open-source handheld CNC technology!
