Support the development of CommandUP (CUP)! 🚀
Hi everyone! I am Aless (MaulSmoke), the creator of CommandUP (CUP) — previously known as FSRIFS. This is a 100% free and open-source automated video processing pipeline designed to bring high-quality fluid sharpening and FSR upscaling to budget, low-end, and older PCs via command-line interface.
I code, test, and optimize everything using my personal hardware: an AMD FX-6300 CPU and a Radeon RX 550 (4GB) GPU. While this setup ensures the pipeline stays incredibly lightweight and accessible, it hits a major technical bottleneck: I do not own a 4K monitor for physical debugging.
Recently, a critical bug slipped into a public release because I couldn’t visually test how the Vulkan shaders behaved at ultra-high resolutions in real-time. If I had a proper 4K display, this issue would have been caught, verified, and fixed within minutes.
🎯 How will the funds be used?
Every single cent from your donations will go directly toward the project’s development infrastructure:
* A Native 4K Monitor: To visually debug, test, and verify Vulkan shaders and graphical containers at ultra-high resolutions before pushing any production updates.
* Hardware Test Components: To benchmark heavier video codecs and expand script compatibility without breaking the pipeline.
💎 Why your support matters
CommandUP (CUP) was built to democratize high-quality video post-processing for users who cannot afford expensive, resource-heavy, AI-powered hardware. By supporting this project, you are helping an independent developer bypass hardware limitations, prevent edge-case bugs, and keep bringing fast, pure-Vulkan optimizations to the community completely for free.
☕ Any cup of coffee helps push the code further. Thank you so much!
