Acerca de The Collver Family History Project
I research and write The Collver Family History Project — a document-driven history of one family across seven centuries, from a Puritan covenant at Dedham to Loyalist New Jersey, Upper Canada, and Michigan. It appears as free weekly essays at history.collver.biz, as a podcast (A House Divided: Collver Family History), and, by Christmas 2026, as a book. All of it is free and will stay free. Coffees go where the money really goes in this work: copies of records from distant archives, research-library fees, and the small home server that hosts the blog and the podcast. If an essay has taught you something about your own people, that is thanks enough. If you would like to buy the researcher a coffee besides, it will be spent on the eighteenth century.
