- The Risale-i Nur, which was written by Bediuzzaman Said Nursi in Turkey between 1925 and 1950, is a commentary on the Holy Qur'an. The Risale-i Nur is a substantive commentary on the Holy Qur'an, which presents and explains the truths of faith in it (= the Qur'an). Most of the verses presented in the Risale-i Nur deal with the truths of faith (iman), such as the names of Allah, His attributes, His power over the universe, His existence, omnipresence and unity, resurrection, the afterlife, prophethood, fate (= God's foreknowledge) and human acts of worship (ibadah)
