The first PC my family owned was this amazing Intel i386, with a turbo button, running Windows 3.1 and MS DOS. I still remember how you had to turn the turbo button off when you wanted to play a pinball game or the ball would move too fast. I remember the awe I felt when I loaded up *Wing Commander II* and had my first "cinematic" gaming experience; that is, after solving the issue of DOS telling me it couldn't run due to the 640K memory limit. Learning how to edit config.sys files and write custom boot scripts was a game all itself and made finally being able to play all the more rewarding!

I've been hooked to the PC world ever since.

I started my academic journey in Molecular and Cellular Biology, eventually shifting more towards a systems/computational biology focus, and I never really made coding my main career of choice. It was always just a hobby for me. Though, this is changing as I am currently back in school finishing a software engineering degree in 2025.

As a non-professional hobbyist in the coding world, I started writing things only for myself, and as I found them useful, I have typically shared them with others. Several of my projects have been a bit more popular than I could have ever imagined, notably within the World of Warcraft addon space.

All I hope is that my various coding projects have been as helpful to you as they have been useful to me. Any kind of support is greatly appreciated and not expected in any way.
