🎉 Hey there! I’m Kwing — creator and builder of Code Alt Design and a guy who is a dad of two, loves lifting weights, gaming, sports, and a whole lot more! If you’ve landed here by curiosity or landed by accident because you're looking for a mix breed of coding and designing, then welcome! I'm delighted to e-meet you, and I hope you can find some value in here.😄
👨💻 A bit about me: I'm in love with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript since 2005 — back when float-based layouts ruled the web. I’ve been building sites ever since, and I still get a kick out of good structure and clean code. I have built and involved with 500 live websites. For Webflow sites, it's close to 200. Yep! I'm that old, hahahaha!😆😄😅
⚡️ What is Code Alt Design?
It’s a small personal project that I put together — a playful riff on the classic Ctrl + Alt + Delete shortcut, blended with design and dev language. It felt fitting to mix a bit of nostalgia with something forward-thinking.
🎯My goal for creating this mini project of mine is to help designers and developers' level up their craft, so we can make the Internet better, one website at a time!
One of the pain points that Code Alt Design wishes to bridge is many of our fellow web designers and developers are underpaid. The hourly rate of the vast majority is still just low. I aim to help designers and developers (like you) improve their craft by offering easy-to-understand and easy-to-implement modules, components, snippets, etc - so that you can land on a job or freelance opportunities with higher hourly rate or pay.
Why is there a monthly membership?
This membership isn't just a subscription; it’s a commitment to your craft. I’ve built this space specifically for designers and developers who are tired of 'good enough' and are ready to master advanced workflows. By joining the community, you’re signaling that you value your time and are willing to invest in the tools that set you apart from the crowd. We’re moving past the basics here—this is for those dedicated to becoming the best in the industry.
💾 What can you expect?
🛠 Webflow is my main playground, and members will get exclusive access to my Webflow projects and source code for quick, easy use. Prefer a different platform? No worries—I’ve got you covered. I’ll also be sharing zipped source files using Vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (no libraries required), so no one is left behind and everyone can access the hand-crafted code.
📦 I have more mini-projects in the works, so expect regular uploads as each one is completed. Stay tuned, and thanks for being part of the journey!
Feel free to download the resources here and use them in your projects. Each project includes a Read Me page, so be sure to check those out as well!
All I ask is the following:
Learn, don't just copy-paste: Please find time to study how I implemented a project rather than just copy-pasting. Learning and hands-on experience are more important than ever in this age of AI and rapid implementation.
Keep the hashtag: Please do not remove the hashtag #TGBTG (To God Be The Glory). 😊🙌
Thanks again for taking the time to read this! I hope you become a part of the Code Alt Design community!
