This week’s mutual aid meal brought a plate of pure nostalgia to our community with a comforting tater tot casserole, sparking shared childhood memories among volunteers and neighbors alike.
A delay in serving the main meal gave us a rare break from the usual hustle. We served snacks and an abundance of Sparrow goodies, and took advantage of the opportunity to slow down and connect with one another while we waited. We loved welcoming new faces and reconnecting with old friends who recently moved up to the Antler camp. The Mutual Eggs trailer arrived fully stocked with shoes, clothing and other useful items for residents to shop through. Meanwhile, the Harm Reduction team surpassed their record of people served in a single-day. Our community's growth and mutual support aren't stopping, yet the city remains relentless in its efforts to make daily life even more challenging. Our neighbors continue to face harsh new rules and biased enforcement across both Juniper Ridge and Antler.
