Want better results from your AI model? Focus on these three core concepts:
• Be Specific 🎯: Don't be vague. Tell the AI the task (write, summarize, compare), the format (bullet points, email, table), and any details (tone, audience, length).
• Give it a Role 🎭: Assign the AI a persona (e.g., "You are a marketing expert" or "Act as a friendly teacher"). This instantly improves the quality and focus of the response.
• Iterate & Refine 🔄: The first answer isn't the final answer. If you don't like the output, just tweak your prompt instead of starting over. Good results come from fine-tuning!

💡Trending AI Models To Use for AI Prompting
GPT-5 (OpenAI): best all-around; creative writing, chat, reasoning, multimodal (text + image + audio).
Claude 3 (Anthropic): safest and most coherent for long, complex docs; great memory span.
Gemini (Google): strong in logic, math, and data-rich reasoning.
LLaMA (Meta): open-source, customizable, cheaper to run locally.
Mistral: small but mighty; fast, efficient, good for code and reasoning.
Qwen (Alibaba): fast-rising, strong in multilingual and multimodal tasks.
• Task: State the specific goal (what you want the AI to do), such as "Write a title" or "Summarize this article."
• Context: Give the AI the necessary background details, including the tone, the intended audience, or the role (persona) the AI should adopt.
• References: Provide the AI with examples, data, or source material it needs to use or imitate for its output.
• Evaluate: Critically check the AI's response to see if it meets all the requirements of your prompt.
• Iterate: If the output isn't right, adjust your prompt (the Task, Context, or References) and try again to improve the result.
AI prompting can be a helpful solution to handle multitasking throughout your workday or even help you with deep research for journalism, educational papers, factual evidence, etc.
Start by choosing an AI model that you feel comfortable with. For example, I really enjoy working with Google‘s Gemini. You might find that ChatGPT is another solution that works better for you. Experimentation is key. Iterate, iterate, and iterate your prompts until you finally achieve the results desired.
