A filmmaker can carry a vision alone for a long time. But eventually, the story needs to leave the filmmaker’s hands and find someone else who can see the possibility in it.

That first person matters.

Not because they simply bring money, but because their belief can give an idea the confidence to move forward.

*The First Believer* is about that moment — when an idea meets trust, and when belief begins to become something real.

I wrote this book for filmmakers, producers and investors because I believe we need to look differently at the space between a great idea and the resources required to bring it to life.
