Hey !

I’m Xiao — a bikepacker, rock climber, mountain lover, and storyteller on two wheels.

One year ago, I started a journey by bike from China to Belgium, things didn't get as planned due to the war in the Middle East and ended up in Ethiopia where i got violently robbed of everything...

I had to come back home, figure out how to make money to rebuy everything I had lost but I knew I was going to hit the road again, stronger.

Right now, I’m on a self-powered journey in South America mixing my favourite passions: bikepacking, paragliding, hiking, hitchhiking, rock climbing, mountaineering,...

Yeah I am travelling with all that gear x) but the most important things that I carry are: a big dream, a heart full of curiosity, and a big smile. My budget for this trip is of 15$/day. And this doesn't take into account the unexpected expenses, this is why I need your generosity :)).

I climb peaks, cross deserts, and ride through snow — all while capturing the raw, beautiful chaos of the road and the generosity of the people I meet.

More than just an Adventure, this journey is the beginning of something bigger: a lifelong mission to enjoy life to its fullest.

I know it may sound a bit selfish to ask for support — after all, I chose this life. But I’m starting from nothing, and every donation helps me afford visas, proper technical gear, food, shelter, and all the little things that allow me to keep going — and keep sharing it with you in the best way possible.
