Why I Speak. Why I Ask.
I don’t come to you with a pulpit.
I come with breath. With a voice. With words that found me before I knew what to call them.
I speak not to preach, but to remember—out loud.
For those who couldn’t. For those who still can’t.
And for those who’ve been told their voice was too heavy, too sharp, too much.
The Church of Joy was never meant to be a building.
It’s a clearing. A quiet spot under the sky.
It’s where I read the words of those who walked through fire
and didn’t lose their tongues.
What drives me is this:
Joy is not the absence of pain—it’s the refusal to let pain be the final word.
That kind of joy is holy. And it deserves to be held up and heard.
Each offering I make—every video, every breath of reflection—is a labor of love.
But love needs room to grow.
And that’s where you come in.
Your contribution isn’t just a tip in a jar.
It’s time.
It’s gas to drive to the quiet places.
It’s equipment to capture stillness without distortion.
It’s the space to keep showing up, again and again,
without burning the wick to nothing.
If you’ve felt something move while watching or listening—
if your spirit stirred, or your shoulders dropped—
then you already know.
I’m not here to ask for much.
Only that if you find value in this work,
you help make it possible for me to keep doing it.
