I worked 24 years in the semiconductor business and I introduced many successful integrated circuits for use in ac-dc and dc-dc switching converters. During that time, I published 10 technical books on various subjects such as small-signal modeling, simulation and loop control. I now answer questions on StackExchange and work on sharing my knowledge via free ready-made simulation templates for SIMPLIS and LTspice. I am a mountain guy and love to cycle in the hills but also hike and enjoy reading the press and books.
