KZN Sunset

This afternoon I decided that I'd really like to go out and take a photo of something beautiful. Being South Africa, I knew I wouldn't have to venture far. I decided to take a slow drive from Umhlanga to Ballito to see what I could find. Something which I've always noticed along the coast line is that there are some incredibly beautiful rivers flowing towards the ocean, and the viewpoints from the bridges really give way to some magnificent views. I stopped to take two photos this afternoon, about an hour apart. The first one was taken as the sun was setting over the grassy green hills which are so synonymous with KwaZulu-Natal. The way the sunlight almost caressed the landscape was quite incredible to behold. The second photo was shortly after the sun had set, and the waning moon was hanging elegantly in the sky against the back-light of the sun. South Africa finds a way to leave me in awe of her beauty on a daily basis, and I try my best to share some of her beauty with you. I hope that you like these photos. I am Proudly South African.
