The first sunset of 2022.
This morning I managed to capture the first glorious sunrise of 2022, and this evening I managed to capture a breathtaking sunset.
What a wonderful start to the year!
I went down to the beach in Umhlanga Rocks and noticed some Mammatus Clouds which had formed from a storm which came from further inland, so I grabbed my camera and grabbed a few shots. There were some other clouds in front of the Mammatus Clouds, but you could clearly see the formations...
I waited to see what would happen to the sky as the sun set. And, the sky was lit on fire...

I have a good feeling about this year...
South African skies are incredible. I love the constantly changing beauty which we are treated to. South Africa is simply magnificent.
