Durban Sunset and Night Lights.

Durban, you were just showing off this evening... I went out for a run this afternoon in Umhlanga, and I'm always looking up at the sky whenever I'm outside. The clouds over Durban in the afternoon looked promising for a pretty sunset this evening, so I quickly ran home, had a quick shower and jumped into my car and headed towards the beach just north of Durban CBD. I took a whole bunch of photos, but just as the sun started setting, the whole sky ignited into the most beautiful warm colours. Sometimes in life you need to keep a look out for certain things that show promise, and when you spot something, you should act on it. Sometimes it doesn't turn out the way you expect, and other times it turns out far better than what you expected. Then just after the sun set, the lights of the city started glowing underneath the evening sky. The whole experience was something incredible to witness and I had to share the two photos with you. The first with the fire in the sky from the sunset, and the second photo shows the golden glow of Durban against the cool blue of the early evening sky. The photos were taken 30 minutes apart. I hope that you like them. South African Sunsets take my breath away almost on a daily basis. We just have so much beauty everywhere. Just keep looking for it... I am Proudly South African.
