Day 90, Lockdown South Africa. Level 3. How are you doing? 90 days... Wow. Most people will be allowed to continue working soon, but there are people (such as myself as a small gym owner) that can not start up yet. Strange times indeed. But, I don't want to get into the ludicrousy of some of the decisions that have been made... "Learn, earn, return - these are the three phases of life. There is no more noble occupation in the world than to assist another human being - to help someone succeed." Alan Loy McGinnis paraphrased. I looked up at the moon tonight, and it reminded me of the phases of life. Those phases present themselves in different ways. Sometimes we must go through a phase of sowing so that later we can reap what we have sown. Other times we need to endure a slow start to something which needs to grow, and you get to watch something grow through its different phases. Other times you need to endure difficult phases, but you will eventually enjoy the good phases of your life too. Like the moon, there are many phases, but it never stands still. Life is constant, so no matter what you are going through, it is temporary, and constantly changing; phases... I took this photo of the moon this evening as it is currently waxing at 13.3%. It has started the journey to becoming a full moon again. That is a metaphor for many things in life right now. What in your life is changing for the better?
