I didn't really sleep much last night so I decided that as seeing I was already awake I'd head down to the beach at "sunrise".
It was super overcast and I took a few moody shots, but I couldn't actually see the sun rise.
As I turned around I noticed a relatively rare cloud formation.
If I am not mistaken, what appears in the clouds towards the left is something called "Asperitas Clouds".
They appear wavy and I thought that with the actual waves of the ocean, and the waves of the sky, I had to take a shot.
It was still relatively dark, and I didn't use my tripod at this point, so I had to push the sensitivity of the camera a bit to try and capture the drama of the sky. This was the result.
I hope that you like it.
Every day has a new pretty surprise in store for us, we just need to be on the look out.
I am Proudly South African.
