Luminous blue,
Encircles the world.
Unaware we are held,
In a prison of a million minds,
I snap inside.
Transforming into a writhing, twisting fear,
A powerful tide,
Pulls me under, I cannot hear.
The world is loud and dull,
I seek an angel.
One to love and to hold,
As I swallow the pills.
Our story has not yet been told,
The forgotten ones, the lost children.
We are swept away,
A pragmatic action,
For those that dwell in reason, we are sentenced.
To our constant dismay,
They create their treason,
Again, and again and again.
A vile act in every season,
Disintegrates the masses.
I laugh inside,
As I search the world for signs,
Of a happier time.
In memories we reside.
