The Day After

Good Morning Folks,
The day after what will probably be one of the biggest events of the decade. The Coronation!
Not that I had much interest in it I'm afraid. I spent the day quietly, watched a couple of films and mooched around the internet.
One thing I did do was list a few digital art prints on here for sale.
Have a look and see if there's anything of interest?
I've always enjoyed fiddling around (as I always think of it), with photos I've taken.
However until a few months ago, I'd never even thought of it as an art form and certainly had no idea that digital art is now very popular.

I've always been arty, for what seems to be my entire sixty plus years.
Even as a child I'd sew and was always making things, I'd draw and paint and was a voracious reader.
As a teenager, I never really did homework at home, choosing instead to get it done in someone else's lessons.
As a young person I was blessed in that I could do several things all at the same time and although I still have that ability, I will be the first to admit I have slowed down quite considerably over recent years.

This left my evenings free and my very favourite activity was to draw. I had a large roll of unused wallpaper and a set of lovely crayons I'd swapped with a friend, although I can't for the life of me remember what they were swapped for now.
I would imagine they were not cheap crayons either as they'd blend perfectly and I loved them.
After tea, I'd get my roll of paper out, along with the crayons, and just sit and colour.
Pure bliss!

It took me a while to figure out the posts on here, even though I'm well used to different platforms and different ways of doing things.
I needed to reduce the pictures I wanted to use in size, for the thumbnail.
I did manage it in the end but still not exactly sure if I've done things correctly. I will soon find out I suppose when someone buys one of the artworks. Although having said that, I could try the system out myself with one of the free downloads.
In fact, I think that may be a job for this morning.
Of course the download file is much bigger than the thumbnails as they're only an indication of what the larger print will look like.

I like to make a tryptic out of the images. I know it's not the most original idea in the world but I like the way they look always. I also like to group four or six of the same pictures together, with different colour hues.
I also have plans underway to make something a little larger using empty CD cases, so watch the space, as the old saying goes.
Trouble is, I have so many ideas and don't always have the time to get things done!
I'm sure I can't be the only one.
