Support Girls in Aviation Day Events Across Africa – 2026

Help inspire the next generation of pilots, engineers, aerospace professionals and STEM leaders across Africa.

Through Girls in Aviation Day (GIAD) 2026, Chiedza CheAfrica and its partners will host aviation and STEM outreach events that introduce girls to exciting career opportunities, provide mentorship, and connect them with inspiring role models working across the aviation and aerospace industries.

Our 2026 outreach programme will support events in:

📍 Selibe-Phikwe, Botswana

📍 Harare & Mutare, Zimbabwe

📍 Monrovia, Liberia

📍 Kigali, Rwanda

📍 Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

📍 Ndola, Zambia

📍 Entebbe, Uganda

📍Nairobi, Kenya

📍Ivory Coast - 2027

Together, we aim to inspire more than 800 girls across Africa through hands-on activities, mentorship, career exploration and educational resources.

Your support will help fund:

✈️ Lunches and refreshments for participating girls

✈️ Printing of Voices From African Skies educational workbooks featuring African aviation and STEM role models

✈️ Educational resources and activity materials

✈️ Certificates and career guidance materials

✈️ Transportation and logistical support for volunteer mentors

✈️ Community outreach activities that encourage girls to pursue careers in aviation, aerospace and STEM

Many girls attending these events will be meeting a pilot, engineer, air traffic controller or aviation professional for the very first time. Sometimes one conversation, one role model or one opportunity is all it takes to change the direction of a young person's future.

Help provide educational resources and career exposure for one participant.

Help introduce ten girls to aviation and STEM opportunities.

Support a full group of participants at one event.

Help deliver a complete Girls in Aviation Day experience at one location.

Supports event delivery, educational resources, workbook printing, volunteer travel and outreach activities across multiple countries while helping expand opportunities for girls in aviation and STEM throughout Africa.
