Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Vjekoslav Nemec, I am 30 years old and I currently work full-time as a chess content creator. If you are here, you probably either saw some of the articles I post on my blog Chessentials.com or one of my Youtube videos.

For the moment, it is possible to do so via a one-time donation, but in the future, I also intend to create subscription-based monthly memberships!
Can you tell me more about your philosophy? Why should I support you?
In the life of every freelancer, there comes a moment when they have to ask themselves how they want to monetize their work/content.
Since I am a big proponent of not-too materialistic approach to life (The High Price Of Materialism is one of my favourite books of all time) and since I am a firm believer that the majority of the chess knowledge (and not just chess knowledge) should be widely available, I have always been a very big fan of a company like Lichess and their, donation-based, business model.
Thus, I thought it is very logical to try to emulate that model, which is why I have decided to make the majority (not 100%, though) of my content available for free. For example, you can download a lot of free chess material on my blog or access it via free and publicly available Lichess studies.
Of course, creating it does take work and effort, which is why I have decided to set up this Buy Me A Coffee page so that anyone who wishes to support me has an easy way of doing so.
All donations are, therefore, very much appreciated - but they are not obligatory by any means.
