In this life we all develop habits that are not easily broken. Even when we are being tolerated or violated, we might remain in situations that we should have left. This is especially true when it comes to church membership.
Your pastor may speak to others or invite them to lunch, but never you. You could be in a church where women preachers are not acknowledged. Perhaps your gifts and talents are being overlooked. It may be difficult, but you may have to make a tough decision.
You can remain and sit on the sidelines, feeling tolerated. You can stay even though it's not your imagination and you know you are being violated. Or you can shake the dust from your feet and move on to where you are appreciated and celebrated. Thank you in advance for buying me coffee.
