You may have seen us on Help! We bought a village?

We moved to the near derelict 12 century Chateau de Lapalu in 2024. Steve, Karen, son Zach and Steve’s mum Valerie made the huge move to France. With no heating in the winter, dangerous electrics, a decaying tower and roofs - the challenge is massive, and all this whilst now having visa requirements and huge bureaucracy now required since Brexit.

We believe the chateau can be saved, but need your help so we can breathe life back in this historic place. Through our social media and YouTube, we will share the journey with you as Lapalu turns from decay and dereliction to important building it once was.

Any help you give will be used directly for renovation and the restoration of Lapalu. Thank you for any help you can give.
