Welcome, one and all, to the Fabulous Fantastical Foray into… Fucking… Fun Fantasy Stories! Alliteration is hard to eff. Anyway, hi hey hello, I am Chareon Vulpecula, the Vtuber behind the front of the 3 decade trans woman fiction writer nobody’s ever heard of! Hold the applause, I can only give out so many signatures at a time. To briefly introduce myself, I have written 4 novels, 6 short stories, and 2 serialized novels (both currently ongoing) and I think in total have made enough money from them to pay for a week’s worth of groceries. Since nobody reads my novels, I am making a BuyMeACoffee without an audience because I want to expand my extremely crippling desire to tell stories into other forms of media. Specifically, web comics, animation, 3D stuff, TTRPG modules, video games, and whatever else I can get my grubby little hands on. As I am now, I can only write novels and I’m kind of okay at art. In order to learn how to do all of the rest of this stuff, I need support. I can’t eat tutorials, after all! At least, not that I’ve been able to figure out, anyway. So what better way to attempt to learn how to make a whole bunch of stories in a whole bunch of mediums than to open up a BuyMeaCoffee and document everything I’ve been through and also have a place where people who actually want to experience my work can actually find it.
The goal is to make a running work...diary…thing. Progress blog? I don’t know what to call it. I’m past my 20 year reunion. In internet years, I am the crypt keeper’s mother. The goal is for me to learn how to make stories in different mediums and document what I discover. Oh, and to also share the fruits of my gardening, too. I haven’t really figured out what is going where, paid versus free-wise, but I will definitely do something exclusive to anybody who’s interested enough in my projects to help me fund them. Even if it’s a quick 10k custom fanfiction or something. The point of my BuyMeaCoffee is to kickstart my creative career with the advice of the almighty Loona; why don’t you just wing it or something?
So that’s what I’m going to be doing. Most of my update posts will be available for free, especially anything I’ve learned that would be beneficial to other people going through what I’m going through. My goal is to go on a creative journey and share the fruits of my labor, not to bogart knowledge. Oh, and also to do Vtuber stuff. Which will probably be YouTube videos about the things I’m up to here, several weeks later on. I think that’s it. Not a bad first post, I’d say.
