Some mornings I wake up on my sailboat before the sun rises, make my coffee, open my laptop, and work straight through the tide shifts. Not because someone is telling me to. Because I chose this rebuild.
A few months ago, I made a decision that changed everything. I walked away from work that looked stable on paper but was draining me behind the scenes. The hours were extreme. The alignment was off. I realized I could either keep surviving inside something that no longer fit, or bet on my own skills and build what I’ve been talking about for years.
So I chose to build.
Right now I’m in the messy middle. I’m developing an app for the sailing community, building website and AI integration services for small businesses, and creating practical AI education tools for people who want to work smarter and design more independent lives. I’m not “dreaming about it.” I’m building it. Long days. Systems. Strategy. Execution.
At the same time, a series of unexpected financial events created short term instability. Nothing dramatic. Just real life stacking up all at once. I am covering necessities while pouring 12 to 16 hour days into launching something that will stand on its own.
Support here is not about charity. It helps bridge this gap while I finish building and launching. It helps cover living costs, software, hosting, and development tools so I can stay focused and finish what I started. It buys time. And time right now is leverage.
