Heyhoi 👋I'm Chak Shun, a lifelong learner working as a software engineer. During my time as a student, I really fell in love with writing technical articles. After graduation, I started to write more and more.

Nowadays, I write about a whole lot of engineering-related topics. Most of them are related to React and JavaScript development. But occasionally, I also write about engineering and career.

For all of my work, I like to focus on topics and use angles that don't have a lot of resources yet. This prompted the birth of Uncommon React, a newsletter focused on helping you become a better React developer by focusing on the less commonly discussed topics.

All of my work is fueled by coffee and bubble tea. If you enjoy my work or find it useful, that already means a ton to me. But if you want to go the extra mile, then there are two ways to support me even further.

The simplest way is to treat me to a coffee. If you're curious, it's most likely gonna be an americano, iced in the summer. If you're even more generous and want to support me more often, you can also make it a monthly thing. Not only will you support my work, but also feed my bubble tea addiction as it'll guarantee me one per month.

In advance, thank you so much for your support. It's what enables me to keep on going and produce content for all of you! ❤️
