À propos Carlos
I am Carlos Brito Pacheco, an applied mathematics researcher and scientific software developer.
My main open-source project is Rodin, a modern C++ finite element framework designed for numerical partial differential equations, computational geometry, and shape and topology optimization.
Rodin aims to make advanced numerical methods easier to express, implement, test, and reuse. Its development includes:
finite element assembly and variational formulations;
mesh processing, refinement, and remeshing;
linear and nonlinear PDE solvers;
shape and topology optimization algorithms;
documentation, examples, testing, and performance improvements;
integration with scientific computing libraries and meshing tools.
Sponsorship helps me dedicate more time to maintaining Rodin, improving its documentation, developing new numerical capabilities, fixing issues, and making the project more useful to researchers, students, and engineers.
Funds may also support development infrastructure, computational resources, software services, and participation in scientific and open-source events.
Rodin is an independent, research-oriented open-source project. Sponsoring it is a direct way to support its continued development and long-term maintenance.
