I am finishing up my semester and then taking a breather before the Summer Semester starts. I get to TA for the Ancient Egypt Class this summer and that's always fun. I end up reading through all the non-assigned parts of the Primary Source Reader on my own because...well, they're just really that cool. Egyptian prayers, spells, letters, complaints, stories, etc...this is some really good stuff...okay, at least, it is to me. I know, I'm a weirdo. But, then again, I did say that History is Weird...and I am no exception to that rule! laughs
I kinda almost don't know what to do with myself...but, my Committe Chair and most of my Committee Members and most of the Professors I know and most of my friends who are ABD have told me to take the Summer away from studying and do other things...so, I will...I just feel weird about it right now because I'm still stuck in "I need to study! Why do I not have a book in my hands? Why am I not reading?!" mode and feel like I'm doing something wrong because I'm not reading an Academic book or taking notes for a paper or something...and I'm having to force myself to NOT do that...
Anyway...that's my life at the moment...
