Coffee and Conversation...

History is not just interesting...it's downright weird.  And I want to tell you some things that I find interesting.  While I specialize in Ancient Mediterranean History, especially Ancient Religions, I find History in other eras and locations to be equally fascinating and will tell you some fun stuff.

But...on occasion, I may just talk about what it's like to be in Grad School, what to expect, and how to get through it...especially when you're an older student like myself.

Or I may talk about books I am reading...because as an Historian, I read a lot of books and articles and I love sharing what I think of them with other people.  But then, I read NON-Academic books, too...and I'll talk about them, as well.

I'll talk about Video Games, Movies, Music, and Life in General...depending on what I'm in the mood for, but I will definitely tell you about interesting things in History...especially Ancient History...and I welcome questions to answer.  If I don't know the answer...I can find out.  I have a lot of brilliant friends and colleagues who study and research a wide range of topics in History that I can ask for information...
