The Power of Spiritual Company

Dearest, Om Namah Shivaya,

Last week, life moved faster than I could anchor it. Between personal commitments and the flow of family life here in Portugal, the window to share our weekly teaching on Vastu Shastra simply closed before I could reach it. To be honest, we felt time was running out on us and realized we needed to pause and recharge for a moment. We want to honour our natural rhythm over the demands of the clock.

Initially, I felt that familiar pull of "should", the pressure to push through and force the output. But then I remembered what we have been practicing together: Ritual is about presence, not productivity. Sometimes, the most sacred ritual we can perform is the act of letting go and trusting the flow.

As we move toward the New Moon on May 16th, we are beginning a new month of exploration: Cultivating Sacred Connection in Community.

The Power of the Sangha

In the Vedic tradition, we call the company of truth Satsang. While our spiritual practices; our meditation and our morning rituals are often personal, the ancient wisdom tells us that we were never meant to walk this path alone.

A Sangha is more than a social circle; it is a spiritual community that acts as a mirror for our highest selves. When we gather with others who are also seeking truth, our individual energy is magnified. The Sangha holds us when we are tired and reminds us of our light when we feel lost in the dark.

Your Practice: The Mirror of Connection

This week, simply observe the energy of the company you keep, not just the people, but the environments and media you inhabit. Does it nourish your soul or drain your Ojas (vitality)? Recognition is the first step toward building a community that truly supports your healing.
