really exciting news over here — my wee motion picture “consumido” has been awarded a Special Mention for “Best Portuguese Horror Short Film” at the 20th MOTELX International Horror Film Festival that took place 3-13 september 2026!it was one of just ten nominees chosen from hundreds of submissions. in granting the extra-ordinary Special Mention, the jury noted the “humour and visual finesse, together with a concise narrative that upends the predator–prey dynamic.”
i'm so very grateful to MOTELX for the invite and the recognition. obrigado!
here's the trailer and poster for "consumido"
