I am an Astronomy Student and Climate Justice Activist. As an Autistic person, it is a challenge to be able to participate and fight against the Climate and Environmental Crisis that we are experiencing today.

I have been working for 4 months on the Drafting of the Declaration of the RCOY (Regional Youth Conference for Latin America and the Caribbean) and my work is constantly supported by colleagues from all over Latin America. I believe in a future where Youth can have an important place in decision-making and I am fighting alongside colleagues to achieve it.

Being able to travel to Colombia is a great opportunity both to be able to work on the declaration that will be presented at the COP (Conference of the Parties) in front of decision makers from all over the world, and also for me, being Autistic, to be able to participate in this instance is essential to be able to give an example of inclusion in this space.

Soy un Estudiante de Astronomia y Activista por la Justicia Climatica. Como persona Autista es un desafio el poder participar y luchar en contra de la Crisis Climatica y Ambiental que estamos viviendo hoy en dia.

Llevo 4 meses trabajando en la Redaccion de la Declaracion de la RCOY (Conferencia Regional de Jóvenes para América Latina y el Caribe) y mi trabajo es constantemente apoyado por compañeros y compañeras de toda Latinoamerica. Creo en un futuro donde la Juventud pueda tener un lugar importante en la toma de decisiones y estoy peleando junto a compañeros para lograrlo.

Poder viajar a Colombia es una gran oportunidad tanto para poder trabajar en la declaracion que se presentará en la COP(Conferencia de las Partes) frente a tomadores de deciciones de todo el mundo, como tambien para mí siendo Autista el poder participar en esta instancia es escencial para poder dar un ejemplo de inclusion en este espacio.

Ich bin Astronomiestudentin und Aktivistin für Klimagerechtigkeit. Als autistischer Mensch ist es eine Herausforderung, an der Klima- und Umweltkrise, die wir heute erleben, teilzunehmen und sie zu bekämpfen.

Ich arbeite seit 4 Monaten an der Ausarbeitung der Erklärung der RCOY (Regionale Jugendkonferenz für Lateinamerika und die Karibik) und meine Arbeit wird ständig von Kollegen aus ganz Lateinamerika unterstützt. Ich glaube an eine Zukunft, in der die Jugend einen wichtigen Platz bei der Entscheidungsfindung einnehmen kann, und ich kämpfe gemeinsam mit meinen Kollegen dafür, dies zu erreichen.

Die Möglichkeit, nach Kolumbien reisen zu können, ist eine großartige Gelegenheit, sowohl an der Erklärung zu arbeiten, die auf der COP (Konferenz der Vertragsparteien) vor Entscheidungsträgern aus der ganzen Welt vorgestellt wird, als auch für mich als Autist , an dieser Instanz teilnehmen zu können, ist wichtig, um ein Beispiel für Inklusion in diesem Bereich geben zu können.
