reflecting on my past relationships, i’ve caught myself backing away when someone treated me with genuine kindness 🥺 i’s like my mind got so used to the turmoil that calmness felt unsettling but maybe, just maybe, my hesitance isn’t about the person, but a fear of embracing the unfamiliar nature of safety 🐚 and reminding myself it is safe for me to love fully, always 🤎
