I’m Carmen, a Perth-born and raised littérateur, former party pants turned natural health fanatic, authenticity advocate and philosophical marketer.
My corporate communications and marketing career spans eight-odd years, working part-time while side-hustling freelance copywriting since 2017 with Scribe Cartel (I’m still growing into the name).
I took a big break in 2021 after a tumultuous couple of years which included moving back home from Melbourne at the end of 2020. I lost my networks, mojo and purpose for a while.
After attempting to work doing something else, I quit that sh*t pretty quick to rekindle my business in 2022 after realising this IS WHAT I LOVE and do best, and I needed to get the f*ck back on with it.
Since then I launched a new website, found awesome new clients and partners, and started creating an online course (which is taking way longer than anticipated after a disruptive 2023, ahhh life).
I write for a variety of clients (and there are certain sectors that are a no for me), and natural medicine and health and wellness is my jam.
Because I love storytelling and long-form copy, my specialties are websites, blogs and eNews.
When I’m not slinging words you’ll find me on a yoga mat or nature trail, with my nose in a book or at the rifle range.
