Über Carmen Jimenez Pride
Hey Friend! I’m Carmen Jimenez-Pride, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, Certified IFS Therapist & Lead Trainer, EMDR Consultant, international speaker, and the creative force behind Focus on Feelings®. I’m also the founder of Diversity in Play Therapy, Radical Roots Rising, and the Pride Sandtray Institute, all born from my deep commitment to inclusive, transformative mental health care.
My work centers on helping therapists integrate powerful models like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Sandtray Play Therapy, EMDR, and expressive arts in ways that honor identity, culture, and creativity. Whether I’m training clinicians, writing books, or holding space in the sandtray, my goal is simple: to help healers heal and to make high-quality education accessible to those doing the real work in our communities.
✨ Every dollar contributed goes directly to funding scholarships for therapists, especially those from historically excluded communities, to attend advanced trainings.
Your support is more than a donation. It’s an investment in healing, equity, and the next generation of change-makers in mental health.
Let’s build a world where every therapist has the tools they need and every client sees themselves reflected in the healing journey.
