For the last several years, one of the things I’ve been most proud of is proving that you can provide something genuinely useful to the healthcare community for free.
Through our HIPAA training platform, HIPAA Training US, we now generate more than 100,000 free HIPAA trainings with certificates every year.
That got me thinking:
What else can we make more accessible for healthcare professionals?
The answer became Healthcareers.app.
And on October 1, 2026, we’re officially launching it.
Healthcareers.app is a free healthcare job board built specifically for healthcare professionals and the organizations that hire them.
Employers can post jobs for free.
A healthcare organization can post a job 100% free for five days.
Need the position listed longer?
A 30-day listing is just $20.
Organizations hiring for multiple positions can purchase discounted job packs, bringing the cost down to as little as $12 per 30-day job posting.
There are also optional $5 upgrades for employers who want additional visibility.
And verified healthcare organizations can run up to five free job postings at a time.
I wanted the pricing to make sense whether you’re a small medical practice trying to hire one medical assistant or a larger healthcare organization filling multiple positions.
But I also wanted to build something better for job seekers.
One of my biggest frustrations with modern job boards is what happens after someone applies.
Or, more accurately, what doesn't happen.
You apply.
You wait....and wait...
And you hear absolutely nothing.
So Healthcareers.app has a No-Ghost Policy.
We expect employers to respond to candidates.
That doesn't mean every applicant gets an interview. Sometimes the response may simply be:
“Thank you for applying. We decided to move forward with another candidate.”
And that's okay.
At least the candidate knows.
No one likes being ghosted and empathy goes a long way.
Why build another job board?
Because we already serve thousands of healthcare professionals and visitors through the healthcare resources we've built over the years.
Healthcareers.app gives us an opportunity to help the community we have supported for many years.
Someone may come to us because they need HIPAA training today.
Tomorrow, they may need a new job.
A healthcare organization may come to us because it needs to train its employees.
Next month, that same organization may need to hire another nurse, medical assistant, therapist, administrator or healthcare IT professional.
Training and employment are naturally connected.
Healthcareers.app lets us start bringing those pieces together.
And yes, we're starting from the beginning.
When Healthcareers.app launches October 1, you're not going to open it and magically find millions of job listings.
We're new.
We're building this from the ground up with real employers and real healthcare opportunities.
I would rather be transparent about that than pretend otherwise.
But we're not starting without an audience.
We're bringing years of experience serving the healthcare community, thousands of healthcare professionals and visitors, and a platform responsible for more than 100,000 free HIPAA trainings with certificates every year.
Now we want to see if we can do for healthcare recruiting what we've been doing with HIPAA training:
Make something people need dramatically more accessible.
October 1 is Day One.
