I've been a writer as far back as I can remember. I started out writing stories, mostly about connections between people, and I've never really stopped. Over the years that has looked like fiction, creative nonfiction, journalism, and even some branded content to pay the bills. It's been my pleasure to tell stories that I find meaningful and highlight true stories and real people who are doing amazing work in the world--a great number of them women.

Being a writer isn't a job I got into for the money. Though I love the flexibility of self-employment and the work I do, it isn't lucrative. The support I receive through this page will give me a little space and a lot of encouragement to work on book-length fiction, pursue stories and essays without knowing if they will sell, and compile passion projects like my international non-alcoholic beverage guide.
