Raconteurs + Rapt Audience = Really Good Time!

Every second Tuesday of the month, ordinary folks show up at Manuel's Tavern to tell true, personal, five-minute (or so) stories on a pre-selected theme. Topics have included, for example, "Road Rules," "Family Business," and "Feuds & Rivalries." Names are drawn from a hat. No one is required to tell a story; attendees can just listen. It's free.

HOWEVER, there's a lot of invisible labor that goes on behind the scenes. Our hosts spend a lot of time working on newsletters, the website, and social media posts; printing postcards; sometimes buying us cupcakes. Everything is cobbled together on free software and such, but it could be just a little bit cuter if we had a little kitty to draw from. Your contribution will help underwrite some of those costs!
