I’ve spent years trying to bring some order to the chaos – advising businesses, lobbying policymakers, writing strategies, managing reputations, and explaining for the thousandth time that CBD won’t get you high. I work at the intersection of compliance, communication, and the ever-spinning PR hamster wheel that is the cannabis sector.

I created The Never Ending Carousel of Cannabis Nonsense because frankly, I needed an outlet. A space to say the things that don’t fit neatly into a press release or policy paper. Somewhere between a deep sigh and a dark laugh – that’s where this podcast lives.

Why I Created This Podcast – My Motivation

Because honestly, someone had to.

The cannabis sector is a strange beast. At its best, it’s innovative, evidence-led and full of promise. At its worst, it’s all snake oil salesmen, LinkedIn hype merchants, and politicians who’ve never seen a hemp plant but have Very Strong Opinions nonetheless.

Every day, I see the same circus acts repeat themselves – the same misunderstandings, the same regulatory loopholes, the same wide-eyed enthusiasm backed by zero substance. It’s exhausting, hilarious, and occasionally infuriating.

This podcast is my way of talking about it all – the absurdity, the hypocrisy, the genuine breakthroughs – with a bit of bite. It’s not advocacy. It’s not therapy. It’s just the truth, told with sarcasm, insight, and the occasional raised eyebrow.
