Callum is 8 years old and is very passionate about the impact of single use plastic on our oceans. He is patiently waiting for the Petitions Committee to consider his ask for every primary school pupil in Scotland to be given a reusable metal water bottle. While he waits, he wants to continue his environmental campaigning and is going to spend 2023 walking the 8 longest Lothian bus routes in Edinburgh for 8 environmental charities.
He will be updating this page along the way, as well as providing extra for those who can support him with a monthly membership. Callum chose each of these charities himself and is excited to get started! The 8 routes total 142 miles - his longest challenge to date!
Callum's 8 chosen charities are:
Water of Leith Conservation Trust
Callum is bursting to tell you what he loves about each of the charities! Money will be paid when the 8 walks are fully completed and split evenly between each charity. We are currently aiming to complete before Christmas 2023.
Thank you for stopping by to read. Callum will be providing regular updates and is really excited to get going!
