A song can travel for centuries across seas ten thousand times as fast as any man could. The power God gave us with music is so incredible. I fell in love with music when I was three. My mom and grandmother exposed me to so many R&B and classic soul artists. These days, I find myself listening to Jazz and classical music to enjoy music in it's purest form. It's so freeing. I'm launching Lisa Ford Records, a music and wellness firm, to make soul music. I classify myself as a soul singer: a singer and producer who creates music for the soul. Music that is nourishing and that made with love. I've walked with God though the wilderness and now all I can hear is his heartbeat in the music. May God continue to bless all of us.
